P.A.A.R.I. Program:
Police Assisted Addiction Recovery Initiative (P.A.A.R.I.) is a non-profit organization that the Griffith Police Department (GPD) is partnered with to aid in assisting individuals who are battling addiction. Through our association with this program, GPD provides risk free assistance to anyone committed to overcoming their addiction. For help, or immediate information on the program, please contact any of our on-duty officers or staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This program will assist you with getting into treatment, without the fear of prosecution for criminal reasons.

WorkOne-Hammond:
They are located at 5265 Hohman Ave Hammond, IN 46320. Veterans of the military receive priority service and priority matching to new job postings on indianacareerconnect.com. They have a disabled Veterans’ outreach program specialists (DVOPS) that provide one-on-one assistance with employment needs, including disabilities and barriers to employment. WorkOne also has local veterans’ employment representatives (LVERs) who conduct outreach to employers and engage in advocacy efforts with hiring executives to increase employment opportunities for veterans, encourage the hiring of disabled veterans, and generally assist veterans to gain and retain employment. Temporary shelter for men that provides food, clothing, and shelter for the men staying there. This is a temporary setting where individuals can be cared for while getting back on their feet.
Brothers Keeper:

St. Jude House:

St Jude can provide safe emergency, temporary shelter for victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault and their dependent children-assistance in pursuing a violence-free life. Haven House:
